During April 2022 - December 2023, a partnership coordinated by ADIVEST - Intercommunity Development Association for the Management of Emergency Situations (Lead Beneficiary), implements the project Romanian – Serbian Cross-Border Risk Monitoring in case of Emergency Situations, abbreviated CBRM, EMS CODE – RORS218. The partnership includes: "Banat" Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Timiș County (Beneficiary 2), Timiș County Gendarmerie Inspectorate (Beneficiary 3), City of Zrenjanin (Beneficiary 4) and Kikinda City (Beneficiary 5).

The project benefits from total eligible financing of 1,238,903.82 EURO, of which 1,053,068.23 EURO is non-refundable financing through the IPA II financial instrument, within Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Romania-Serbia Programme 2014-2020, the difference representing the own contribution of 2% and respectively the national co-financing from the state budget.
The project focuses on cooperation at the level of county and local public administrations and specialized intervention institutions from the area of ​​cross-border cooperation in order to: improve the common technical basis for intervention, strengthen the professional capacity of intervention personnel, agree a common risk management system, adequate information of the target groups regarding prevention and response measures in emergency situations.

Main project activities and related results: Purchase of a cross-border package of intervention equipment; Realization of a common professional training program for intervention and civil protection units; Realization of a joint program of exercises and tactical applications; The formulation of procedures for joint intervention, for the major risks identified; The formulation of a cross-border agreement regarding the joint, integrated and sustainable management of emergency situations; Development of a web platform dedicated to the promotion of the project and especially to cooperation in the field of emergency situations and civil protection; Joint development and implementation of an emergency awareness campaign for students and teachers, including a dedicated cross-border camp; Carrying out a study on the potential of IT / electronic warning devices for the activity of monitoring the risk of flooding and more.
